Landscapers: Feeling the Summer Heat in Winter - January 2010
In an economy that is still unsettling for most, the landscaping business is starting into
the 2010 season with anticipation and optimism. The Pro-Green show in Denver, Colorado
showed good turnout for the landscapers, subcontractors and the vendors who were displaying
their supplies for the landscaping companies. The upcoming Home and Garden show-taking place
in Denver during February - has shown signs of hesitation. Many familiar faces and displays
that normally would already be reserved have not made the strong commitment says one local
landscaping company.
Customers are getting multiple estimates for their home projects. In the past, homeowners
would only have gotten one or two estimates and rely on the reputation and references of
local companies. With customers looking for great deals and landscapers looking for that
nitch that will seal the deal, most agree that this season will be different than those
of yesteryears.
Whenever there has been a down turn in the economy many homeowners have turned to their
biggest investment, their own homes, to invest their money. Energy is focused on making
it a more appealing and welcoming place to ride out the storm and to be with those most
important to them. Fire pits have been one of those welcoming additions to both residential
and commercial projects; they warm the heart and add to the serenity for those who gather
around them.
Here at The Gas Connection Inc, we hope that this season will bring success and
self-reflection instead of the unsettling feelings of just self-preservation.
The Gas Connection is still offering the set up of gas fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, patio
heaters, tiki torches and many other outdoor gas appliances that can add to the homeowner's
desire and satisfaction on their next home project.
